Pali: Akkocchi maṃ avadhi maṃ ajini maṃ ahāsi menYe taṃ na upanayhanti veraṃ tesūpasammati
English: “He abused me, he struck me, he overpowered me, he robbed me.” Those who do not harbor such thoughts still their hatred.
Holding onto resentment only perpetuates the cycle of suffering, trapping us in the past and preventing us from experiencing peace in the present.
How can we cultivate the mental space to observe these thoughts and feelings without letting them define our actions and emotions?
